The Eastern Golf Course Managers Association (EGA Thailand) would like to extend our gratitude to Ms. Tracy Nguyen, General Manager of Trang An Golf and Resort, for providing an incredible opportunity to eight female caddies from Thailand. They had the chance to play on two world-class golf courses at the same venue, covering 36 holes, including the prestigious course used for the Trang An Open 2025 professional tournament.

Today, the Thai caddies were invited to participate in the Trang A Staff Open, playing on the same course that hosted the professional tournaments of the All Thailand Golf Tour and Thai LPGA last week. Every caddy experienced the diversity, challenges, and beauty of the course in its best condition, with meticulously maintained sand bunkers and breathtaking scenery featuring mountains and lakes surrounding all 36 holes.

Tomorrow, the golf course has arranged a special tour for the caddies to visit Bai Dinh, where they will pay respects to the tallest pagoda in Asia for good fortune. They will also enjoy a boat trip through stunning natural landscapes, passing golden rice fields along a six-kilometer round-trip route, exploring Tam Coc—a UNESCO World Heritage site—before attending a farewell dinner in Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, prior to returning to Thailand on May 29, 2025.

Once again, we deeply appreciate this experience of playing on a world-class golf course, traveling through a UNESCO heritage city, and learning about Vietnamese culture—an invaluable experience shared between neighboring countries.

The association is also preparing to host eight Vietnamese caddies who earned their spots to compete in the Singha Amazing Thailand Caddies Champion finals at St. Andrew, continuing this meaningful exchange tradition. We look forward to welcoming them to Thailand.
